The vast majority of soaps are made undergoing a high temperature process, which destroys most of the nutrients in the natural ingredients (if any!). Moreover, they often contain some nasty ingredients including:

Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS): An engine degreaser which can cause eye irritation, permanent damage in children's eyes, skin rash, hair loss and flaky skin.
Porpylene Glycol: The main ingredient in the manufacture of brake fluid and industrial anti-freeze. It is used in body care products because it glides on smoothly. However it greatly damages and ages the skin. It also caused skin rashes and dryness.
Fragrance: Almost always refers to a mix of synthetic compounds know to cause allergic reactions.
Parabens: Used as preservative in many products.
Animal ingredients, such as tallow (animal fat) and honey.

In contrast, Raw Gaia's Lavender Raw Soap is hand-made with organic and cold-pressed oils, infused with essential oil of lavender. It is made through a low temperature process (temperatures never go above 40 degrees Celsius), in order to retain the goodness within the ingredients. the result is a wonderful soap that is gentle and feels amazing to use. It is one of the purest soaps you'll ever find.

Ingredients: Lavender Raw Soap is made with

*Organic & cold pressed cocoa (cacao) butter: It helps to repair dry and damaged skin with its skin cell restoration properties and restore elasticity thanks to the high levels of antioxidants and minerals within.
*Organic & cold-pressed coconut oil: It removes dead skin cells which helps make the skin smoother and softer.
*Organic & cold-pressed red palm oil (sustainably harvested from Brazil): Rich in vitamin A and E, it is a great skin moisturiser and is also good for healing conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis.
*Organic and cold-pressed sunflower oil: Rich in Vitamin E and Linoleic acid which is essential for cell formation and healthy growth.
*Water
*Organic essential oil of lavender: Good for all skin types as it promotes skin cell growth. It has a light, woody aroma.

Raw Soap is wrapped in biodegradable plastic.

Allergy information: Lavender essential oil naturally contains the following allergens: geraniol, limonene, linalool.
