For those of you who prefer a mildly sweet green juice, this may just become your new superfood-filled favourite. Ginger and lemon would also make great additions to this blend for an extra bit of flavour.
- 2 large green apples, cored
- 1 cucumber
- 2 celery stalks
- 4 large kale leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon spirulina powder
Juice the apples, cucumber, celery, and kale. Transfer the fresh juice to shaker cup or blender, ad the spirulina powder, and mix until incorporated.
Kale contains more calcium per calorie that cow's milk (and it's better absorbed by the body, too).
